What are the main properties of ABS plastic sheet? ABS plastic sheet has excellent impact strength, good size, good dyeing, molding and machining, high mechanical strength, high stiffness, low water absorption and corrosion resistance. Good, simple connection, non-toxic and tasteless, with excellent chemical and electrical insulation.

1、 Mechanical properties

ABS plastic has excellent mechanical properties, excellent impact strength, and can be used at very low temperature. ABS has excellent wear resistance, good dimensional stability and oil resistance, which can be used for bearings under medium load and rotating speed. The creep resistance of ABS is larger than that of PSF and PC, but smaller than that of PA and POM. The bending strength and compressive strength of ABS are poor among the plastics. The mechanical properties of ABS are greatly affected by temperature.

2、 Thermal properties

The thermal deformation temperature of ABS plastic is 93 ~ 118 ℃, and the product can be increased by about 10 ℃ after annealing. ABS can still show certain toughness at - 40 ℃, and can be used in the temperature range of - 40 ~ 100 ℃.

3、 Electrical performance

ABS plastic has good electrical insulation, and is hardly affected by temperature, humidity and frequency. It can be used in most environments.

4、 Environmental performance

ABS plastics are not affected by water, inorganic salt, alkali and many kinds of acids, but they are soluble in ketones, aldehydes and chlorinated hydrocarbons. Stress cracking will occur when they are eroded by glacial acetic acid and vegetable oil. ABS has poor weatherability and is easy to degrade under the action of ultraviolet light. After six months outdoors, the impact strength of ABS is reduced by half.

It can resist heat without deformation and has high impact toughness even at low temperature. It is still a hard, scratch resistant and non deformable material. Low water absorption, high size, no confusion. The conventional ABS plastic plate is not very white, but its toughness is very good. It can be cut with scissors or punched with a die.

Working temperature: from - 50c to + 70c. Among them, transparent ABS plastic sheet has good transparency and excellent polishing and polishing effect. It is the first choice material to replace PC board. Compared with acrylic, its toughness is very good, which can meet the ground processing requirements of detailed products. The disadvantage is that the relative price of transparent ABS plastic plate is relatively expensive.
